Child size picnic table

Jeff and I found plans for this picnic table on http://www.knock-offwood.com/ we love looking at that site. We have plans to make Austin a toddler bed and a bed for our master bedroom once we move and get a little more settled. It only took us about an hour to make all the wood cuts and put the entire thing together. It took longer to paint it. We choose colonial red. For all the supplies it was $15.00. Austin really likes the table. He mostly likes to climb on it. It was a really fun little project. We are going to make one for our friend's daughter for her birthday.

New Curtains

If there is a long break between posts then it means I'm probably working on a bigger project or a lot of different projects. I finished these curtains for my 19 month old son, Austin. I used fabric that will also be in a quilt that my MIL is making for him. It is based off the book the Very Hungry Caterpillar. Austin loves that book. The curtains help make it a little darker in his room when he goes to bed since the sun is still up. It also gives the room a funny green glow.
