I needed something to display my cards on in the Village Office Supply Store. I wanted something that could hold as many cards as possible. There were some wire racks on sale online but with shipping it was too pricy for me. My wonderful husband made me one. I took pictures while he was doing it so other people might be able to replicate it pretty easily.

Valentines Day is coming up! I love Valentines day. I know some people say that it is all commercial and you don't need a day to tell you to be romantic but I love any occasion for my husband and I to celebrate our love.

If there is ever a time to make a homemade card I think Christmas is the time. What better a way can you show someone you care by taking the time to make them a card? I think a lot of times it seems like there is so much to do during this season that we just do things and check them off our list. Another reason to make your own Christmas cards is because it is very inexpensive. Cardboard
Two plastic bottles
Duct Tape
Orange Tissue paper
2in non-rolling elastic

I made this card for my friend who is getting married very soon. I'm sad I can't see her in person on her special day.

For this card I use patterned paper for the front. I took a brown ink pad and rubbed it along the edge of the patterned paper to distress it a little. I love Halloween. It is so much fun. Every year we make these chocolate covered pretzels. They are really yummy and festive. You just need the pretzel mold from Joanns and some melting chocolate and pretzel rods. I also made the tags. The stamp is from Joanns.

I sent them with Jeff to work. He said they were a hit.

I used an ink pad to distress the edges of the white cardstock.

I used the same layout for these cards and I even used the same paper but I was able to get a different look by just changing up the embellishment on the left. You don't have to make every card really different. If you find a layout you like or paper you like just make a bunch of the same or change it up just a little bit.

Paper Pieced Table Runner

I paper pieced another table runner.
