Sometimes I struggle to make more masculine cards. I'm a girl, I like cute things. This care is one of my attempts at making a masculine card. I used my Cuttlebug hounds-tooth embossing folder for the background.
After I embossed the paper, I took my black ink pad and rubbed it on the embossed part of the cardstock.
I stamped my sentiment and mated it. Then I used two staples as embellishments to give it a more edgy feel. I added ribbon on the back and also glued cardboard on the back before securing it to my card. Adding the cardboard gives it a little more dimension and helps the sentiment stand out.
